Beijing Olympics uplifts Chinese people's sense of happiness

71.4% of netizens think that Beijing Olympics changed their own lives, according to an online survey conducted jointly by China Youth Daily and Sina.com.

What changes did the Beijing Olympics bring to people? Another online survey conducted by China Youth Daily reveals that 47.6% of the interviewees think that their mood turned good and 21.2% think that they had much more time to stay with their families.

Watching games at home boosted take-away food business. More than 40% of consumers chose home delivery services, according to a survey.

Family relationship is not the only thing Beijing Olympics have changed. The survey made by China Youth Daily indicates that 42.9% of the interviewees think that they had more topics to talk with neighbors and friends, and 13.3% of the interviewees think the relationship between colleagues got improved.

Moreover, Beijing Olympics promoted the environment-friendly and healthy concept. A telephone survey, conducted among 3,032 residents in Beijing's 18 districts and counties, by Beijing Social Facts & Public Opinion Survey Center, shows that 42.6% of the interviewees think that Beijing Olympics boosted the environment protection senses through publicity and education. People's concerns about environment protection are as high as 91.9% after the Olympic Games.
